Miranda blinked, "She just…disappeared? Just like that?" Monochrome nodded at her looking uncharacteristically serious, "No one knew what happened to her, and before we could do something about it Lucy took over. It seemed she had been gathering more and more followers.  Once she was in charge everything changed.  She would take anyone she could get her hands on, whether they were suffering or not. She stole their human memories, and made the process as painful as possible."

Miranda just stood there shocked not knowing exactly how to respond to this strange new Misfit. "Monochrome! Get off! I wasn't expecting anyone…" Said the Misfit that was underneath him, squirming on the couch.  Monochrome sighed and got off of the couch, straightened his shirt, and then turned to Miranda and Shad.

"So what do we have here? I know Shad…you're a regular, but who is this girl?" He took a few steps over until he was in front of Miranda looking her over, "You're a human…maybe fifteen? Virgin."  "Damien put her down! You're not being very hospitable!" Kitten yelled at him with her hands on her hips.  Damien growled showing some very sharp teeth that Miranda preferred not to be on the business end of, "Hospitable? You're yelling at me for being hospitable? She's a filthy human! What do you think Lucy is going to say about this? How could you be so stupid?"  He yelled back bending down slightly so he could meet Kittens eyes.

Jealousy Rage Chp 8                                  Finding Mercy

 Dagger opened his eyes to nothingness.  Forgetting what had happened he panicked.  The blackness was surrounding him, choking him, and just when he thought he was about to die he heard a familiar voice.

"Dagger? Honey?"  He stopped flailing around and listened.  That was his mom for certain, but he couldn't see her.  He couldn't see at all.  The crushing realization of what had happened poured down on him and he bent over holding his head, shaking and sobbing.  He felt arms wrap around him and he hugged them back.  He felt a small twinge of pain when he moved but he ignored it.  He couldn't hJealousy Rage Chp 8 by ~Twilight-Princess333
